Safer play

Responsible gambling support

Decide how much time and money you can spend before a session. Stop if gambling becomes stressful or difficult to control.

Set limits before play

Choose a fixed budget from money you can afford to lose and a time limit for the session. Use deposit, loss, time-out or reminder tools where they are available.

Recognise when to pause

Consider stepping away if you are chasing losses, hiding gambling, borrowing to continue or feeling anxious when you stop. These are reasons to pause and ask for help, not to increase stakes.

Take practical steps now

Close the game and payment screens, avoid borrowing or trying to win back losses, and tell someone you trust what is happening. If you feel unable to stop, ask a GP or a specialist service for support.

Use account controls

Check the current account settings for deposit limits, loss limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. Ask the operator how each tool works, when a change takes effect and whether it applies across products.

Support for family and friends

You can ask for help even if the person gambling is not ready to do so. Specialist services can explain options for affected family members and friends; do not take on someone else's gambling debt or credentials.

Eligibility

Only adults who meet the current local eligibility requirements should use gambling products. Review the operator's live terms for the rules that apply to your account.
